GLN Typ1

1xGLN Type1 for the purpose of one-time location identification for an annual fee of EUR 105,- plus VAT.

SmartStarter1

1-5 GTINs for a one-time initial fee of 35 euros plus VAT per GTIN.

SmartStarter10

1xGLN and 10 GTIN for an annual fee of 60 euros plus VAT.

GS1 Complete

The use of the GS1 Complete service package is subject to a one-time initial fee, whose amount is determined by the ordered GLN numbering capacity.

The invoice for the initial annual fee will be sent out on written notification of your GLN. The GS1 Complete annual fee includes the following services:

  • Use of the GS1 Germany identification numbering system (type 2 GLN), including electronic product codes (EPCs)
  • Participation in a two hour beginners webinar titled “Start in das GS1-System” (1)
  • A € 200 reduction on your participation fee for attending one of our entry-level classroom training sessions (2)
  • Online access to GS1 Germany publications and services concerning GS1 standard use (3)
  • Three barcode tests (2)
  • You will be sent a copy of the quarterly GS1 magazine STANDARDS (quarterly)

All legally independent corporate users that issue annual financial statements are liable to pay a fee, regardless of how many location numbers they need and use for information management purposes. The parties that are liable to pay such fees also include:

  • Franchisers that effect payment of the annual fee according to the table above, solely for franchisees that all represent the same brand

and

  • Parent companies that effect payment of the annual fee according to the table above for their wholly owned domestic subsidiaries
     

„Each additional location number that is required and used is subject to a one-time €100 (plus VAT) fee, plus a € 10 (plus VAT) annual fee.

The term “sales” in this price list means total company/corporate group sales before tax.

The fee charged to purchasing cooperatives and consortiums whose official purpose is the joint purchase of goods for their member wholesalers and retailers shall be based on the sales between the relevant cooperative/consortium and the members thereof.

If an applicant needs GLNs apart from their own GLN for handling the organizational side of information interchange with member companies, GS1 Germany will provide the requisite number of GLNs for an annual administration fee of € 1 (plus VAT) per GLN for the electronic provision of address information. Such GLNs shall be allocated solely under separate contracts between the purchasing cooperative or consortium and GS1 Germany. The standard contract in this regard is available on request.
