GS1 Complete
As a prerequisite for using the GS1 Complete service package, we charge a one-off provisioning price. The amount depends on the numbering capacity of the GS1 basic number applied for.
For the use of the GS1 Complete service package, annual usage prices are also charged at the beginning of each financial year according to a sales-related scale. The total turnover of the company is decisive here. The full usage price must be paid in the first year of participation, regardless of when the contract is concluded.
The invoice for the annual usage price will be sent with the written notification of the GLN (Global Location Number).
The GS1 Complete annual usage price includes the following services:
- Use of the GS1 numbering system (GLN type 2) incl. Electronic Product Code (EPC)
- Use of the GS1 Service Platform incl. GTIN Manager, GLN Manager and QR Code Manager to manage your product and location information
- Participation in the 2-hour beginners' webinar "Getting started with the GS1 system" (1)
- Welcome discount of EUR 200 for participation in a GS1 basic seminar (2)
- Online access to specialist publications and services on the use of GS1 standards (3)
- Three free barcode tests (2)

Participants who are legally autonomous and independently balance their own accounts (from industry, trade, the service sector, etc.) are liable to pay costs, regardless of how many location numbers they require and occupy for the organizational processing of the information system. This also includes
- Licensors who work exclusively for licensees operating under the same brand
or
- parent companies that charge for their wholly-owned domestic subsidiaries
pay the annual usage prices according to this scale. We charge a one-off price of EUR 100 plus VAT for each additional location number required and used. The annual usage price for each additional location number required is EUR 10 plus VAT.
"Turnover" within the meaning of this price list is the total turnover of the company/group of companies before tax.
In the case of purchasing associations and cooperatives whose corporate purpose is the joint purchasing of merchandise for their wholesale and retail members, the own-account sales are to be taken as the basis.
If, in addition to the GLN of the applicant, further location numbers are required for the organizational processing of the information system with the members, GS1 Germany will allocate the required number of corresponding GLNs by charging an annual lump sum of EUR 1.00 for the electronic provision of address information (plus statutory VAT in each case) per GLN. The allocation of corresponding GLNs takes place exclusively on the basis of a separate contractual relationship between the purchasing association/cooperative and GS1 Germany (please request contract documents).

GS1 Complete
We charge a one-time service price for the use of the GS1 Complete service package. The amount depends on the GTIN numbering capacity of the requested GS1 base number GCP (Global Company Prefix).
In addition, a recurring annual usage price is charged at the beginning of each financial year according to a turnover-related scale. “Turnover” within the meaning of this price overview is the total annual turnover of the company or group of companies before tax.
In the case of purchasing associations and cooperatives whose corporate purpose is the joint purchasing of merchandise for their wholesale and retail members, the own business turnover shall be taken as the basis.

Legally independent and independently accounting participants (from industry, trade, the service sector, etc.) are subject to charges, irrespective of how many location numbers they require and occupy for the organizational processing of the information system. This also includes franchisors that pay the annual usage prices for franchisees operating exclusively under the same brand - or parent companies that pay the annual usage prices for their wholly-owned domestic subsidiaries according to the above scale.
The GS1 Complete usage price includes the following services:
- Use of the GS1 numbering system (based on GLN type 2)
- Use of the GS1 Service Platform incl. GTIN Manager, GLN Manager and QR Code Manager to manage your product and location information
- Welcome discount of 500.00 EUR for participation in a GS1 training course or seminar 1
- Three free barcode tests 1
